Q: Can we meet before using the service?

A: We offer a free consultation where we will come to visit you and your pet. We feel this session is essential for me to understand your pet’s personality and requirements. It’s also time for you to meet and get to know me as well.

Q: How much do you charge?

Check our rates page for general pricing. We are happy to discuss rates for any additional requirements you might have. We are confident that you will find all of our rates very competitive.

Q: How many dogs are walked at any one time?

 We do not anticipate walking any more than 2 to 3 pets at any one time. Dogs can also be walked one on one if requested by you. This can be discussed during our consultation meeting.

Q: Is my puppy old enough to be walked in a group?

If your puppy has had all of his/her vaccinations (normally the necessary vaccinations are complete when the puppy is 12 weeks) then the puppy is old enough to be walked.

Q: On or Off lead?

Dogs must be able to be handled on a leash at all times.

Q: How do you arrange picking up and dropping off the dogs?

We will collect your dog from your house, and then return them safely after their walk. During the first meeting with you and your dog we will arrange how we will gain access to your house. If we need keys, we ask that these are made available to us before services commence.

Q: What areas do you cover?

We cover all areas in Lago Vista, Pointe Venture, Jonestown and parts of Leander and Cedar Park.

Q: Do you offer after hours walking?

Yes. As mentioned on the welcome page, we are very flexible and am happy to help if you need us at short notice. We all have emergencies in life and Lago Vista Pets is here to take care of your pet and let you get on with what you have to do. Leaving you comfortable with the knowledge that your pet is being well taken care of.

Q: What if i have to cancel a daily walk?

If you have to cancel, please contact us by telephone or text message giving as much notice as possible.

Q: What do you do in case of an emergency?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will immediately call and notify you. If veterinary assistance is required, We will take your dog to your nominated vet or to the nearest possible one depending on the circumstances.
